Graveside services were held Saturday at the Waurika Perpetual Care Cemetery. Burial was under the direction of the Willis C. Worley Funeral Home. Donald Eugene Moore was born December 26, 1916 in Jefferson County, Oklahoma, the third of four children born to Hattie Lou Patterson and Leonard Elbert Moore. He grew up in Jefferson County and attended Waurika Public Schools. On March 3, 1965, he was married to Lois Ingram in Henrietta, Texas and the couple made their home in Waurika. Mr. Moore was a carpenter for more than 50 years and a veteran of World War II. Survivors include his wife, Lois of the home; two daughters (from a first marriage to Betty Dunn of Waurika), Cheryl Dawn Wappler and Rayeann (Blenda Gail) Foley, both of Tucson, Arizona; a step-daughter, Elizabeth Casey of Joplin, Missouri; two step-sons, Bob Wall of Waurika and Charles Brazell of Garland, Texas; a sister, Ruth Roden of Waurika; a brother, Dallas Leon Moore of Waurika; two grandchildren, five step-grandchildren and three step-great-grandchildren.
