All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Lawton Constitution 5 Jan 2005 Alice Meyer TEMPLE Funeral for Alice Meyer, 89, Temple, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Walters, with the Rev. N.J. BalaSwamy officiating. Mrs. Meyer died Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2005, in Wichita Falls, Texas. Burial will be at Temple Cemetery under direction of Hart-Wyatt Funeral Home, Walters. She was born April 6, 1915, in Walters and grew up in Walters. She married Charlie A. Meyer in 1934 at Walters and they made their home on several farms in the Walters and Hastings area. They settled at her home in Temple in 1956. Her husband died in 1972. She was a serger at the Haggar Slacks Factory in Temple for 17 years. She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church. Survivors include three sons and two daughters-in-law: Charles and Beverly Meyer, Kenneth and Kathy Meyer and John Earl Meyer, all of Temple; a daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Dick Wann, Walters; three brothers: Cecil Haynes, Arizona; and Bill and Danny Kekuna, both of Wichita Falls, Texas; a sister, Peggy Moon, Whitney, Texas; 11 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Charlene Blum; and a grandson, Stephen Wann.
