Popejoy, 86, of Shawnee, OK, died Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2003, in Oklahoma City. Services will be held Saturday, Feb. 15, 2003, at 2:00 P.M., at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 9110 Harmony Dr., Midwest City, OK, with Minister Don Radford of Tecumseh, OK officiating. Harold Popejoy was born April 13, 1916, in Fleetwood, OK, to Mattie Helen and Charley Sadler Popejoy. He was an ordained minister and self-employed businessman. He married Juanita O. (Henson) Popejoy, on January 29, 1936. Harold was a truly devoted family man and lifelong servant of Jehovah God. As an ordained minister of Jehovah's Witnesses since 1940, he was privileged to be used in many capacities. His heartfelt commitment as well expressed in Isaiah 6:8. 'Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?' and I proceeded to say: 'Here I am! Send me.' His only questions about that were 'when' and 'where'? Preceded in death by both parents and his two brothers.
