Monday, Oct. 9th, at an Ardmore nursing home following an illness of several months. Her funeral was held Tuesday morning, October 10, at the Pealor Memorial Chapel, Terral, with John Baker, minister of the Ryan Church of Christ, officiating. Burial was in Weslaco, Texas under the direction of Morehead Funeral Home. Mrs. Pealor was born July 25, 1897 in Springtown, Texas. She came to Terral at an early age and on July 22, 1920 She and J. P. Pealor were united in marriage here. Mr. Pealor died in February of 1952. She was a member of the Methodist Church of Edcouch, Texas and a charter member of the Eastern Star at Edcouch and Terral. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Agnes Collins of Terral; one son, James Pealor of Edcouch, Texas; one brother, E. L. Rodgers of Terral; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
