Funeral: noon Monday at St. Patrick Cathedral. Burial: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Rosary: 5 p.m. Sunday in Mount Olivet Chapel. Isidra was born May 15, 1921, in Waurika, Okla., to Vidal and Elena Zepeda. She and her family later moved to Arlington, where she lived until she met and married the love of her life, Martin. When Martin proposed, he told her he wanted a baseball team; the team turned out to be a girls team. They were blessed with 12 children, four boys and eight girls. Isidra never worked outside the home. They lived a short while in Hurst and then moved to Fort Worth in 1952. Staying at home didn't mean her job wasn't difficult. Taking care of a home and raising 12 children were not easy tasks. She just made it look that way and her family was her life. Isidra was preceded in death by loving husband of 53 years, Martin Perez; son, Cirilo Perez; grandson, Cirilo S. Perez; and granddaughter Sabrina Bierlein. Survivors: Sons, David Perez and wife, Dolores, Martin Perez Jr. and wife, Rebecca and Tony Perez; daughters, Martha and Delores Perez, Terre Aguilera and husband, Jesse, Stella Bosillo and husband, Donald, Barbra Hernandez and husband, Roy, Vicki Raso, Elena Perez, Christina Bierlein and husband, Christopher; sister, Mary Nichols; 20 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Published in the Star-Telegram on 4/3/2005. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Return to Jefferson County Archives: http://www.usgwarchives.net/ok/jefferson/jefferson.htm
