Ina B. Reading

PAMPA - Ina B. Reading, 91, died Tuesday, Oct. 28, 1997.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors 
Colonial Chapel with Dr. Jim Prock, pastor of First Baptist Church, 
officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.

Mrs. Reading was born in Hastings, Okla., and had been a resident of Pampa 
since 1942.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ollie Petrie. She then married 
Gordon K. Reading Sr. in 1955 at Pampa. He died in 1983.

Mrs. Reading was a member and past Worth Matron of Top O' Texas Chapter 
No. 1064 of the Order of the Eastern Star. She was active in bowling 
leagues across the Panhandle. She attended First Baptist Church.

Survivors include a son, G.K. Reading Jr. of Lubbock; a brother, Allen 
Hodges of Nampa, Idaho; a sister, Jeanelle Bandy of Richardson; two 
grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at 1200 N. Russell. They request memorials 
be to the Pampa Senior Citizens Center or a favorite charity.
