Funeral services were held at 10 a.m., Monday, April 18, at the Putnam City Baptist Church in Oklahoma City, with the Rev. Max Alexander officiating. Burial was held at 2:30 p.m., in the Grady Cemetery, East of Ryan, under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home. Born Sept. 16, 1924, to Albert and Bertha (Bates) Jackson, in Ardmore, she worked in the library media services office at Putman City Schools, and enjoyed word puzzles and reading books. On March 15, 1947, she married Stanley Stafford, in Wichita, Kan. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers. Survivors in addition to her husband, Stanley, of the home include; a son and daughter-in-law, Stan and Ronda Stafford, Jr., of Oklahoma City; a daughter and son-in-law, Beverly and Mike Petry of Oklahoma City; three grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.
