M. Stewart who has been suffering from heart trouble and dropsy for nearly a year, died at about 1:30 Tuesday morning. He was an old citizen of the town, having been postmaster here for about 18 years. He leaves a wife, five sons and three daughters to mourn his loss. The funeral did not take place until Thursday on account of some of the children being unable to reach here before that time. Mr. Stewart was a Woodman and the services were conducted by that order.
