Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Directors Martin Road Chapel, 15th Avenue and Martin Road. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery. Mr. Taylor enjoyed being with family. He retired from the city of Amarillo in 1993. He was married to Evelyn Jainer for 54 years. Survivors include his wife; three sons, Gary Taylor of Panhandle, Larry Taylor of Waynoka, Okla., and Roy Joe Taylor of Amarillo; two daughters, Sue Langford of Amarillo and Kathy Nigh of Mountainburg, Ark.; three brothers, Ed Taylor of Anacoco, La., Frank Taylor of Carrollton and Bob Taylor of Columbus, Miss.; two sisters, Shirley Beck and Carolyn Pace, both of Indianapolis; 13 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
