All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Pleasant Hill Cemetery--Armstrong OK Durant Daily Democrat - 6 Oct 2004 Mines Alexander, 84 A graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Armstrong, for Mines Alexander, 84, Bokchito, who died Monday, Oct. 4, 2004, in Bokchito. Rev. Anthony Williams will officiate. He was born Tuesday, March 23, 1920, in Folsom to James and Icee Emiline (Brown) Alexander. He was a farmer and lived in Bryan County all of his life. He loved raising chickens, bees and coon dogs. His favorite hobby was coon hunting. He married Gussie Miller in July 1940 in Caddo. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, granddaughter Pamela Willeby, brother J.P. Alexander and sister Della Boatman. He is survived by sons Charles Alexander and wife Joyce, Caddo, and Grady Alexander, Denison, Texas; daughters Brenda Jordan and husband Skip, Bokchito, and Margie Willeby, Odessa, Texas; 10 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.
