Icy Mae George Beard

PAMPA - Icy Mae George Beard, 89, died Thursday, April 10, 1997.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Carmichael-Whatley Funeral 
Directors Colonial Chapel with the Rev. Rick Parnell, associate 
pastor of Central Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in 
Fairview Cemetery.

Mrs. Beard was born in Ravia, Okla. She moved to Pampa in 1958 from 
Ada, Okla. She married Joseph Alonzo George in 1925 at Ada. He died 
in 1978. She later married Hulle Beard in 1983 at Pampa. He died in 
1984.

She was a homemaker and a member of Central Baptist Church.

Survivors include two sons, J.A. George of Dumas and G.B. "Don'' 
George of Hennessey, Okla.; a daughter, Mary Ann Harris of Tulsa, 
Okla.; a sister, Lorena Scruggs of Pampa; 10 grandchildren; 18 great-
grandchildren; and a greatgreat-grandson.
