All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Tishomingo City Cemetery--Tishomingo OK Pauline (Autrey) Blackburn Pauline (Autrey) Blackburn Born on May 5, 1920 in Milburn, Oklahoma, went to be with the Lord and loved ones on November 8, 2005 in Walnut Creek, California at the age of 85 years. Interment was on November 14, 2005 at Tishomingo, Oklahoma. Pauline was raised in Johnston County, Oklahoma. She married Joe Blackburn on January 18, 1941 in Nida, Oklahoma and following his military service, they made their home in the Bay Area. Pauline has been a resident of Quail Lodge in Antioch the past two years. After moving to California during WWII, Pauline supported the war effort by working as "Rosie the Riveter" in an aircraft factory. She later retired from Montgomery Ward Catalog Department where she worked for many years. Pauline loved traveling with her family as well as shopping and making costume jewelry. Most of all she was passionate about being with her children and grandchildren, attending their plays, ball games, parades and dance recitals. Pauline was preceded in death by her parents, James and Maude Carroll Autrey; her husband, Joe Blackburn on October 9, 2001; and her brothers, Paul, Claude, Syrus and Weldon. Pauline is survived by her son, Leon Blackburn and wife, Onnie, of Mill Valley, California; her daughters, Patricia Joe Laughead and husband, Bill, of Sparks, Nevada, and Deborah Villalobos and husband, Frank, of Antioch, California; seven grandchildren, Russ Blackburn and wife, Shielah, Michele Garvey and husband, Brian, Danielle Fontaine, Joey Fontaine, Jessica Laughead, Jennifer Becker and Tommy Becker; great- grandchildren, Ryan and Emma Garvey, and numerous nieces and nephews, in-laws, cousins and a host of other relatives and friends. Pauline will be deeply missed by her family and many friends. A celebration of Pauline's life will be held on Saturday, December 10, 2005, at 2:00 PM, Quail Lodge Retirement Community, 3rd floor Chapel, 4850 Deer Valley Road, Antioch, California. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Pauline's honor to the Oklahoma Baptist Home for Children, Rt. 3, Box 100, Madill, OK 73446, WWW.OBHC.ORG, or to your favorite charity.
