Melvin Francis Coffey JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Melvin Francis Coffey, 78, a former Clovis, N.M., resident, died Sunday, Nov. 27, 1996. Memorial graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in Fairview Cemetery at Pampa, Texas, with the Rev. Darrell Evans, pastor of the First Christian Church of Pampa, officiating. Arrangements are by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors at Pampa. Mr. Coffey was born in Wapanucka, Okla. He was an Army veteran serving during World War II. He had lived in Clovis, N.M., for 50 years, where he worked as parts manager for Doc Stewart Chevrolet for 35 years, retiring in 1983. He married Ruth G. Osborne in 1946 at Lubbock, Texas. She died in 1995.
