Cooley, Joy Opal

Joy Opal Cooley February 16, 1920 - April 3, 2007 Born in Coleman, OK 
to Hattie Mae and Walter Mitchell and passed peacefully into the arms 
of God surrounded by her loving family. Survived by her husband of 65 
years, Forrest Cooley; daughter, Lucille Cooley Bienemann; son, Tom 
(Connie) Cooley; five grandchildren and 6½ great-grandchildren. 
Predeceased by grandson, John S. Bienemann, seven brothers and 
sisters. She was a long time Tucson business woman who moved to 
Tucson in 1948 along with her husband. Together they started a 
business that lasted for over 50 years. A smart and generous woman 
that will be missed. Visitation 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Monday, April 
9, 2007 at BRING'S BROADWAY CHAPEL , 6910 E. Broadway. Funeral 10:00 
A.M. Tuesday, April 10, 2007 at Silverbell Baptist Church, 3344 N. 
Campbell Ave., with Rev. Philip Dunham officiating. Burial to follow 
at 2:00 P.M. in Greenwood Memory Lawn, Phoenix, AZ. In lieu of 
flowers the family suggests contributions in Joy's name be made to 
Silverbell Baptist Church.
