Services will be at 10 a.m. today in Henson-Novak Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Odie Nunley, pastor of First Baptist Church in Hardesty, officiating. Burial will be in Elmhurst Cemetery. Mrs. Freeman was born in Wilson County, Tenn. She moved to Texas County in 1918 with her family. They lived in Hitchland. She later lived in Guymon and Texhoma. She was a bookkeeper for more than 30 years, working at the Hitchland Elevator and for the Ideal Grocery store in Guymon. She had lived in Coleman the past several years. She married James B. Melton in 1932 at Guymon. He died in 1965. Survivors include two daughters, Lue Dean Delton and Sue Robinette, both of Coleman; a sister, Elizabeth Brooks of Goodwell; a brother, Hollis Quesenbury of Hardesty; six grandsons; and 11 greatgrandchildren.
