Mr. Goodwin was born September 1, 1930 at Wapanucka, Ok. Mr. Goodwin was a member of Grace Church of Wichita Falls, member of the Board of Directors of Electra State Bank, member of the North Texas Oil and Gas Association, member of the University of Oklahoma Booster Club. He started out as an oil rig builder in Ada, Ok., later he worked on offshore rigs. He moved to Pampa, Texas in 1952, where he owned a rig skidding company and then into casing pulling business. He moved to Wichita Falls in 1967 and continued the oilfield service and casing pulling company. Mr. Goodwin went into oil and gas production in 1971. He married Dorothea Keller, July 15, 1954 in Rapid City, S.D. Survivors include his wife, Dorothea Goodwin of Wichita Falls, Tx.; 3 sons, Richard K. Goodwin of Edmond, Ok., Jerry D. Goodwin of Ft. Worth, Tx., Charles Guy Goodwin, III of Houston, Tx.; a daughter, Diana J. Brigham of Abilene, Tx.; a sister, Mary Hunt of Colorado Springs, Co.; 4 brothers, Harold Goodwin of Ulysses, Ks., Donald Goodwin and Ronald Goodwin, both of Colorado Springs, Co., Tommy Goodwin of Albuquerque, N.M.; 10 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Services will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 26, 1995 at Lunn's Colonial Chapel. Tom Rogers, Grace Church of Wichita Falls, will officiate. Interment, Crestview Memorial Park.
