Grimsley, Roberta 1904 - 2005

Roberta Grimsley, 100, a retired school teacher, passed away 
Thursday, Jan. 20, 2005, at an Arlington hospital.

Funeral: 11 a.m. Monday, First Baptist Church of Arlington, 300 S. 
Center St. Graveside service: 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sunset Memorial 
Park, Stillwater, Okla. Visitation: The family will receive friends 5 
to 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Roberta Grimsley was born Sept. 17, 1904, in Mannsville, Okla. She 
resided at Angelic Place in Arlington. Mrs. Grimsley was a member of 
First Baptist Church of Arlington and was a Sunday school teacher. 
She retired from teaching after 28 years. She was a member of the 
Retired Teachers Association.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Thurston Grimsley; 
and her son, Joe Elbert Grimsley.

Survivors: Daughter-in-law, Emma Grimsley of Arlington; 
grandchildren, Keith Grimsley and wife, Vicki Grimsley, and Jan 
Grimsley; great-grandchildren, Kyle Grimsley and Christi Chames; 
numerous nieces and nephews.
