All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Mount Olivet Cemetery--Ft Worth TX Gunter, Sarah Lue Ella 1918 - 2005 Sarah Lue Ella Gunter, 87, passed from this life into the arms of Jesus Thursday, Oct. 6, 2005. Funeral: 9:30 a.m. Monday in Mount Olivet Chapel. Burial: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation: 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Mount Olivet Funeral Home. Memorials: The Gideons International or charity of choice. Sarah was born to Fletcher and Ella Cobb Sept. 4, 1918, in Tishomingo, Okla. She married William C. "Bill" Gunter April 4, 1937. Together they owned and operated Gunter Marine Sales for 42 years. Sarah was a volunteer at All Saints Episcopal Hospital. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and loved Jesus Christ. She brought up her children in the ways of the Lord and was truly a Proverbs 31 woman. Sarah was a member of Ridglea Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, sisters, Ruth Ann Shaw, Jennie Wheeler, Laura Spray and Pearl Smith; brothers, Bill and Frank Cobb. Survivors: Sons and daughters-in-law, Travis and Peggy Gunter, Mark and Sandi Gunter; daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Jim Lumpkin; grandchildren, Deborah and Jay Taylor, Carol Lumpkin Lillo, Michael and Jan Lumpkin, Liz and Dan Montefu, Jon and Pattie Gunter, Windy and Andrew Babcock, Ryan Gunter; and nine great-grandchildren.
