Los Angeles Times 17 October 2004 Hudson, Mary Louise Born October 22, 1914, Mary Louise Arnold, in Bromide, Oklahoma and passed away, peacefully, October 11, 2004, just short of her 90th birthday. Mary came to California with her family and settled in Glendale where she graduated from Glendale High School. It was here that she met and married Alvin Perry Hudson. During their 55 year marriage they lived in the communities of Eagle Rock, Walnut Park and Downey with most of her time being spent raising her son and involving herself in family activities. She enjoyed spending time with, and, cooking for family and friends. In 1975 they retired to Lake Isabella, California where they enjoyed fishing, socializing with friends and gardening. After losing Alvin in 1991 she moved to Torrance in order to be closer to her son and his family. Mary lived at Sunset Gardens where she enjoyed a close circle of friends and was an avid Pinochle player. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
