All who knew him will be saddened by his death, but can take comfort knowing his life was rich and full. Although he was born on Nov. 16, 1918 in Wapanucka, Ok., his family soon moved to Cache and made it their permanent home. Jim graduated from O.U. in 1943 with a degree in Pharmacy. He entered the Army shortly thereafter, served his country in WWII and was honorably discharged after the war. Upon return to the U.S., Jim and his wife, Poldi opened a pharmacy in Del City, while starting their family. He was a devoted husband and father. Jim took great pride in being a fair and honest man. He served the community for many years and leaves behind friends too numerous to mention. Jim was proud of his lifelong accomplishments. He was an avid golfer and sports booster. He was a charter and lifetime member of Kiwanis Club, as well as their past President. He was instrumental in development of the Pharmacy Heritage Museum in Guthrie. He was past President of OPHA. Jim stayed vibrant and active until the time of his death. He strived to live life to the fullest and make all those around him happy. His wish is to be remembered this way. His family and friends will miss him greatly and the void he leaves in their lives can never be filled. Those wishing to make donations may send them to the Oklahoma Pharmacy Heritage Foundation. Services will be 10:00 a.m. on Thurs., Sept. 22, 1994 in the chapel at Resthaven Funeral Home in OKC.
