All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Hollister Cemetery--Hollister OK Lawton Constitution 1 Dec 2002 Alline Louise Matthew HOLLISTER - Funeral for Alline Louise Matthew, 76, Hollister, will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Gray Gish Funeral Home Chapel, Frederick, with the Rev. Bob Couch, Hollister Baptist Church, officiating. Mrs. Matthew died Friday, Nov. 29, 2002, at her home in Blanchard. Burial will be at Hollister Cemetery. She was born on Feb. 26, 1926, to Oscar James and Mary Jane Perkins Bates in Wapanucka, where she attended school. She married Jesse David Matthew on April 8, 1944, in Atoka County. In 1949, they moved to Tillman County. She was a homemaker. In the summer of 2002, she moved to Blanchard to be near her children and grandchildren. Survivors include her husband, of the home; two sons: Louis J. Matthew and his wife, Sharon, Blanchard; Jesse L. Matthew and his wife, Johnnie, Moore; a daughter, Marie Jones and her husband Bill, Tuttle; a sister, Christine Nichols, Wapanucka; three half sisters: Laverne, Oklahoma City; Debbie, Coleman; and Freda, Stratford; and two half brothers: Ronnie Bates, Coleman; and Eugene Bates, Odessa, Texas; nine grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and several extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy Neasbitt; a brother, Luther Bates; and a half brother, Edward Bates. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society, 1305 W.
