All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Bold Springs Cemetery--Wiggins TX Perkins, Micah Shane Micah Shane Perkins, 40, gave up the troubles of this life and went to be with his Savior on Saturday, Dec. 24, 2005. Funeral: The service was conducted under the direction of Roger Clark Funeral Home at the Baptist Church in Milburn, Okla. His cousin, Skippy Perkins, presented the eulogy. Burial: Bold Springs Cemetery. Pallbearers were Shane's brother, Gene Perkins Jr.; his nephew, Kyle Perkins; and cousins, Randy Cole, Paul Holcomb, Wade Whittington and Marion Paris. Honorary pallbearers were Clay Pipkin and Spencer Taylor. Shane was born Sept. 22, 1965, in Fort Worth, to Aubrey Gene and Mickie Perkins. He graduated from Castleberry High School in 1984 and attended Sam Houston State University, where he received his degree in criminal justice. He was employed by the Texas Parole Office for 13 years. He was assigned to Dallas, Smith, Tarrant and Grayson county offices. Shane was baptized on Aug. 22, 1999. Even with his daily struggles he studied his Bible and continued to grow in his faith. Shane was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Arthur and Selma Perkins. Survivors: He leaves behind the loves of his life, his wife, Sharon of the home; his daughter, Shana Jean Perkins of Wichita Falls; his parents, Aubrey Gene and Mickie Perkins; mother-in-law and father-in- law, Curtis and Betty Deaver of Alvarado; brother, Gene Perkins Jr. and wife, Adrienne, of Baton Rouge, La.; grandmother, Craig McDonald of Milburn; nieces, Audrey Jene Perkins and her mother, Lorrie Perkins, of Tyler and Danielle Perkins; nephew, Kyle Raymond Perkins and their mother, Karen Perkins, of Friendswood; brother-in-law, Ron Deaver and his wife, Christi, and their children of Concord, Calif.; brother-in-law, Glen Deaver and his wife, Becca, and their children, of Fort Worth; aunts, uncles and cousins; and friends too numerous to mention by name.
