Interment will be in Mill Creek Cemetery with Clagg Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Born November 11, 1909 in Clovis, N. M., to William Archable Young and Della Belle Hardy Young, she died Monday, May 22 in Mill Creek. She married Dwight Franklin "Frank" Roberts at Ada on November 24, 1937. He preceded her in death on February 4, 1967. She spent her early years near Clovis, N. M., before moving to Meeker, then Gotebo and to Mill Creek in 1917. She attended school in Mill Creek until the ninth grade when the family moved to Norman where she graduated from high school in 1927. She graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 1930. Before retiring, she taught school in Loco for one year, Rush Springs for two years and Mill Creek for 29 years. She was Teacher of the Year for Johnston County in 1968. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Mill Creek where she taught Sunday School and was pianist. Surviving are two daughters, Patricia Jean Roberts and Marjorie Sue Patton, Jr. and her husband, Albert, all of Mill Creek; four grandchildren, Franklin Hardy Patton, Kristopher Kenyon Patton, Tammy Lynn Griffin Patton and Angela Janise Hayes Patton and four great grandchildren, Emma Ann Patton, Jake Griffin Patton, Ryan Kristopher Patton and Matthew David Patton.
