Rushing No services are planned at this time. Cremation and arrangements are by Memorial Park Funeral Home, 6969 E. Interstate 40. Mr. Rushing was born Nov. 19, 1946, in Wapanucka, Okla., to Orban and Mildred Lavurn Ballard Rushing. He was a heavy equipment operator and mechanic. He married Linda Kay Turney on Jan. 7, 1965, in Aspermont. He moved to Amarillo in 1970. He served in the Army from 1964 to 1967. Survivors include his wife, Linda; a son, Richard Bertram of Wolfforth; a daughter, Karen Michelle Diana of Vasilia, Calif.; two brothers, Glen Rushing of Amarillo and Bruce Rushing of Olney; five sisters, Renda Barry of Chillicothe, Betty Collins of Mineral Wells, Kathy Bucchi of Burkburnett, Pam Houck of Vernon and Jenell Coats of Quanah; and three grandchildren.
