Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Victory Church. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery by Schooler-Gordon Funeral Directors, 5400 S. Bell St. Mrs. Silva was born to Waymon O. Wallar and Lela G. St. Clair on Dec. 21, 1954, in Ravia, Okla. She married Mark Silva in 1986 in Amarillo. She was dedicated to her job as a lab technician at Baptist St. Anthony's Hospital, where she was employed for 20 years. She enjoyed her hobbies of sewing, cross-stitching, reading and working. She was a member of Victory Church. She was involved in her church life as well as her family life. Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Michelle Peterson of Amarillo; a brother, Herman D. Wallar of Amarillo; two sisters, Gerry A. Ridge of Valliant, Okla., and Effie M. Lewis of Amarillo; and a grandchild. Amarillo Globe-News, Aug. 18, 2003
