STILLEY, MANNSVILLE PIONEER, PASSES AWAY SERVICES TO BE CONDUCTED TRIBUTE TO BE PAID AT FIRST METHODIST CHURCH AT MANNSVILLE. MANNSVILLE, Jan. 21, Funeral services will be held at the First Methodist church here tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock for Alfred C. Stilley, pioneer Southern Oklahoma man and resident of Mannsville for almost half a century. He died suddenly at 11 o'clock Sunday morning. Rev. John Tennyson of Madill and Rev. George Beavers, pastor of the Mannsville Baptist church, will conduct the services, with Watts Funeral home of Madill in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers will be L.D. Petty, P.W. Williams, C.C. Hitchcock, B.F. Copeland, Jim Byrd and Roy Hollingsworth. Honorary pallbearers will be neighbors and friends of the family. Stilley was born and reared at Marion, Ill, and came to Indian Territory in early manhood. He married Miss Nancy Anne Pursley in Arkansas before coming to Mannsville. Surviving are the following children: Mrs. Carrie Sims, Miss Daisy Stilley, Argus Stilley and Mrs Alfred Johnson all of Mannsville; Mrs. T.N. Lynn and Mrs. Bundy Willard of Savannah, OK; and W.F. Stilley of Tecumseh; two brothers, W.D. Stilley, Atoka, OK and C.L. Stilley, Knoxville, Ark. He has been an active worker in the Baptist church since early in life and had also been active in educational affairs.
