Stone, Lenora Zell Mrs. Stone passed from this life Wednesday, Jan. 31, 2007, at the Tulsa Nursing Center in Tulsa, Okla. She was born Dec. 13, 1911, in Wapanucka, Okla., to Lee and Zelva James Woods. She married Byron Stone, on May 20, 1933, in Clovis. Mrs. Stone was a former resident of Melrose until moving to Oklahoma in 2000. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Melrose. She is survived by three daughters, Zelia Campbell (Stanley), of Owassa, Okla., Essie Merrill (Tom), of Midland, Texas and Mary Connolly (Michael), of Hawaii; one son, James Stone (Betty), of Farmington; two sisters, Helen Henry (Eddie) and Patsy Magrin (Moritz), both of Tulsa, Okla.; one brother, G. Woods, of Houston, Texas; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and two great- great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one daughter, Juanita Stone; one son, Boyce Stone; and one grandson, Tommy Merrill. Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, Feb. 6, 2007, at the First Baptist Church in Melrose. Pastor Durward Wofford will officiate. Burial will follow at Melrose Cemetery. Honorary casket bearers will be all friends and neighbors. Arrangements are by Steed-Todd Funeral Home, 800 E.
