There will be a viewing at 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, January 10th with graveside service immediately following at Green Acres Mortuary and Cemetery, 401 North Hayden Road, Scottsdale. Mrs. Timmons was born September 11, 1915, in Johnston County, Oklahoma to Fred and Dorsey Edmondson. She was a lifelong homemaker raising 9 children. She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Floyd Timmons, a daughter-in-law, Becky Timmons and 4 grandsons. She is survived by 5 sons Carlton, of Cave Creek; Velton, and Jim of Phoenix; Wayne of Glendale and Cecil of Fort Gibson, OK and 4 daughters, Geraldine Mann; Laverne Marvel; Linda Mize and Wanda Seidlick all of Muskogee, OK. She is survived by two sisters, Vera Martin, of Bloomfield, NM and Ann Lewis, of Atkins, AR and one brother Jerry Edmondson, also of Atkins, AR. She also is survived by 21 Grandchildren; 37 Great Grandchildren and 3 Great Great Grandchildren. She was a wonderful Christian and a great mother and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
