Capital Democrat, date unknown (but she died Nov. 26, 1947): RITES TO BE HELD FOR MRS. WARDEN Funeral services for Mrs. Margaret Josephine Warden, 78 year old Tishomingo resident, will be held today (Thursday) at three o'clock in the Chapel of the Chapman Funeral Home with Jack Worthy, Pastor of the Nazarene church, conducting the services. Mrs. Warden was born April 20, 1869 in Marchfield, Mo. She died early Wednesday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Nora Boyd. She had been ill for several weeks and was in a hospital in Ardmore for some time but returned home from the hospital last Thursday. Survivors include five sons, H.C. Warden of Sallisaw, John Warden of Wynnewood, Ralph Warden of San Diego, Calif., W.C. Warden and V.S. Warden of Tishomingo; three daughters, Mrs. Lena Rivers of Spokane, Wash., Mrs. Axie Reddings of Mena, Ark., and Mrs. Nora Boyd of Tishomingo; a brother W. S. Gardner of Springer and two sisters, Mrs. Harriett Robertson of Tulsa and Mrs. Lydia Warden of Seattle, Wash. Burial will be in Condon Grove cemetery beside her husband, the late Marion F. Warden, who died in 1920. Chapman Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
