Willard McCartney, Jr. officiating. Interment was in Oaklawn Cemetery with Clagg Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Woodell was born in Coleman on October 11, 1912 to Robert T. Lee and Mattie Penny Lee. She died Thursday, Oct. 13 at Arbuckle Memorial Hospital. A housewife and a Baptist by faith, Mrs. Woodell grew up in the Coleman area where she attended school. She married Forrest C. Woodell on November 11, 1930 at Coalgate. After 19 years in that area, the couple moved to Sulphur in 1951. Mr. Woodell preceded her in death on January 9, 1991. Survivors include three daughters, Mae Williams, Sulphur, Margaret Gilbert, Odessa, Texas and Kathy John and her husband, Jamey, Sulphur; six sons, Kenneth Woodell, Sulphur, Tom Woodell and his wife, Sue, Duncan, Bob Woodell, McAlester, Billy Woodell and his wife, LaJuan, Whitehouse, Texas, Terry Woodell and his wife, Terry, Sulphur; two sisters, Mary Woodell and Etoy Hampton, both of Sulphur; a brother, Robert Lee, Coalgate; 23 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren and nine great-great grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Linda Woodell; a grandson, Shane Woodell; great granddaughter, Kenna Beaty; sons-in-law, Bert Williams and Freddie Gilbert and daughters-in-law, Mary Beth Woodell and Beverly Woodell. She was also preceded in death by three sisters and five brothers. Serving as pallbearers were her six sons, Terry, Bob, Keith (Poly), Tom, Billy and Kenneth Woodell.
