Woodward, 61, Ada, were held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, June 5 at the First Baptist Church in Sulphur with Rev. Pat Kilby, of the First Baptist Church of Ada officiating. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery in Sulphur with Criswell Funeral Home of Ada in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Woodward died Thursday, June 1 at her home. She was born December 28, 1944 in Sulphur to Addison and Mildred Ryon Walker. She graduated from Sulphur High School. She married Ernest C. Woodward on September 3, 1966 in Sulphur. Mrs. Woodward was employed with Citizens Bank of Ada, retiring after 23 years of service. She was a member of the Sulphur First Baptist Church and was affiliated with the First Baptist Church in Ada. Survivors include her husband, Ernest C. Woodward, of the home; two sons, Lt. Commander Ernest C. Woodward, Jr., Arlington, Virginia, and Jeremy R. Woodward, Oil Center; three grandchildren, Madison Woodward, Dalton Woodward, and Addison Woodward; two brothers, John E. Walker, Mexia, Texas, and Ted P. Walker, Sierra Vista, Arizona; two sisters, Rebecca M. Walker, Ada, and Patricia Grimm, Phoenix, Arizona; numerous nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, J. Ryon Walker and a sister, Susan Burt.
