Armstrong FRITCH - M.C. Armstrong, 78, died Sunday, June 15, 2003, in Amarillo. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Grace Fellowship Church with the Rev. Danny Barnett, pastor of Borger Church, the Rev. L.K. "Buck" Lawley, pastor of Perryton Church of God, and the Rev. Ricky Griffin, pastor of Borger Grace Fellowship Church, officiating. Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park by Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger. Mr. Armstrong was born Nov. 29, 1924, in Kaw City, Okla. He was a substation foreman for Southwestern Public Service Co. Survivors include his wife, Jean; a son, Matt Armstrong of Borger; two daughters, Geneva Gifford and Theresa Anderson, both of Borger; three sisters, Thelma Hayden, Esther Gentry and Jean Lytle, all of Maud, Okla.; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
