He was 78 years of age. Charles was born July 29, 1920 in Muldrow, Oklahoma to Joseph Franklin and Della Davis Sullivan. When Charles was three his family moved to Ft. Smith, Ark., where he later attended school. In 1931 the family moved to Osage County and lived in the Wynona area. Although Charles never married he always took care of his parents and family. He was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Wynona and Pawhuska and was very active in youth work in his early years. Survivors include his sisters Pernina Weatherman and Beulah Sullivan, both of Newkirk; niece Sue Myers and husband Jack of Ponca City; niece Carolyn Landis and husband Mike of Newkirk; great nieces and nephews Danny Lee, Danny Joe, Sabra, Robyn, Regina, Steve and Micah. Charles was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Wilbert and Willis Sullivan, nephew Joe Weatherman, and great-nephew Mike Weatherman. Graveside services were held on Wednesday, Dec. 30, at 12:30 pm at the A.J. Powell Memorial Cemetery in Hominy with Rev. Dennis Jordan officiating.
