::Fairfax Cemetery--Fairfax OK

CANADIAN - Lois Anne Chitwood, 73, died Tuesday, Dec. 16, 2003.

Services will be at 10 a.m. today in Stickley-Hill Funeral Directors 
Chapel with Jerry Golden, pastor of First Baptist Church, 
officiating. Burial will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Fairfax Cemetery in 
Fairfax, Okla.

Mrs. Chitwood was married to Thomas Chitwood on Nov. 24, 1948, in 
Ponca City, Okla. She moved to Canadian in 1957 and worked for Kerr 
McGee for 15 years. Mrs. Chitwood was a member of First Baptist 
Church, Moose Lodge and was a volunteer at Abraham Home. She loved to 
read, and watch movies and sports.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 1982.

Survivors include two daughters, Tommie Mackie of Ames, Okla., and 
Anna Reeves of Oklahoma City; five grandchildren; and three great-
grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials be to Hemphill County Library and 
Canadian ISD Library.
