I would like to submit this obit. Its my grandfather Charles H North. He
raised a family of 3 boys in Blackwell.

CH NORTH Ballard Jeweler, Dies

Charley H North, 75, a Ballard jeweler, died Sunday in a hospital. He
suffered a stroke. 

Funeral services will be at 1 o'clock Friday in the Wiggen & Sons chapel.
Cremation will follow.

For the past seven years Mr. North had been in business in Ballard and
formerly worked in a downtown store. 

He came here 14 years ago from Blackwell Okla. He was born in Iowa.

Mr. North was a member of Corinthian Court No. 15, Order of Amaranth,
Occidental Lodge No. 28, Order of the Eastern Star, and Chikaskia Lodge No.
109, Blackwell. He resided at 5705 Phinney Av.

Surviving are his wife Louise [Carstensen Pripp North]; three sons, Harry,
Seattle; Glenn, Blackwell, and Norman North, Ponca City, Okla.; a sister
Mrs Aletha Sarchett, Center Point, Iowa; two brother, George, Hutchinson,
Kas., and Perry North, Oklahoma City, and four grandchildren.
