All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::NOT LISTED Christopher, Helen Louise Helen Louise Christopher passed away peacefully, at home Tuesday, Feb. 13, 2007, at the age of 96. A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 17, 2007, at Marshall-Spoo Sunset Funeral Chapel in Grover Beach. Helen was born March 20, 1910, in Newkirk, Okla. She married Edward Henry Christopher Sept. 22, 1937, and they spent nearly 60 years together, raising a family in their Halcyon home. He preceded her in death in March of 1997. Helen worked for many years in drug stores in the Five Cities area. She was an active member of First United Methodist Church in Arroyo Grande and enjoyed her close friends in Sew and Sew. Always active, she was nicknamed "The Tiny Tornado" while helping in the beginning the Great American Melodrama in Oceano. She is survived by son Edward Christopher and wife Jackie, son Dennis Christopher, daughter Jane Nicol and husband Bob; five grandchildren, Mark Christopher and wife Kara, Jamie Mashburn and husband Howard, Scott Nicol and wife Gwen, Todd Nicol and wife Kyndal, Amie Thoms and husband Bobby; and 11 great-grandchildren. Helen was well loved and leaves many to cherish her memories. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to your favorite charity.
