She was 81. Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 16, in the Blackwell Cemetery under the direction of the Hackler Funeral Home with Dr. Jerry L. Rice of the First Presbyterian Church officiating. Daisy Sricklin was born Feb. 5, 1920, at Drumright, the daughter of William Moses and Gertrude (Cook) Ary. In 1926, the family moved to Blackwell where she attended school, graduating with the class of 1937. She atteneded Southeastern A&M College at Wilburton for two years. On June 2, 1941, she married Wesley Stricklin at Newkirk and they made their home in Blackwell. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, gardening and cooking. Survivors include her husband, of the home; a daughter, Karen Stricklin of Blackwell; one son, Thomas R. Stricklin of Edmond; a sister, Opal Tate of Portland, Ore.; two grandchildren and two geat-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Herman; and two sisters, Dollie and Joyce. Memorials may be made in her name to the Ponca City Hospice, 1904 N.
