Day Archie Eugene Day, 58, of Yuba City died Jan. 30, 2002, at his residence. Born in Blackwell, Okla., he was a Yuba-Sutter resident since 1985. He was a maintenance man for the Yuba City Moose Lodge for 10 years. He was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 1240 of Yuba City. survivors include his companion, Dorothy Rusch of Yuba City; a son, Tyler Day of Phoenix, Ariz.; two daughters, Robin Lane of Texas and Kimberly Gibson of Boise City, Okla.; five brothers, Virgil Day of Yuba City, Manuel Day of Navarre, Fla., Jimmy Day of La Crosse, Kan., and Glenn Day and Johnnie Day, both of Sutton, Alaska; five sisters, Shirley Pfiefer of Olivehurst, Barbara Wares of Sutton, Alaska, Mary Jo Rick of Kurtsville, Mo., and Geneva Baxter and Bonnie Kay Vargas, both of Elkhart, Kan.; and seven grandchildren. Contributions can be made to Fremont-Rideout Hospice, 319 G St., Marysville CA 95901. Services: A service is scheduled at noon Thursday at the Moose Lodge in Yuba City with members of the lodge officiating.
