Robinson, 82, of Cushing, died on Friday, Aug. 2, 2002 at the Southern Oaks Nursing Center in Pawnee. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at the Mehan Union Church South of Stillwater. The Rev. Mike Mitchell will preside. Interment will follow at the Sunset Memorial Gardens South of Stillwater. Serving as pallbearers will be David Robinson, Gary Robinson, Rance Dooley, Justin Robinson, Mitch Robinson, Jason Robinson, and Ryan Dooley. Funeral services are under the direction of the Palmer Funeral Home of Cushing. Robinson was born Jan. 7, 1920 in Hallett to Keller and Iva Della (Fowler) Robinson. He received his early education in Glencoe and was a graduate of the Glencoe High School Class of 1941. He was married to Nadine Joyce (Fulps) on August 15, 1942 in Pawnee, Oklahoma. They lived in Pawnee until moving to Payne County and the Cushing area in 1959. They lived in Cushing until returning to Pawnee to live in 2001. Robinson was a Farmer and Rancher and had worked for Dell Crocker in Pawnee and Claude Broyles and Charles Ripley in Ripley. He was a member of the Mehan Union Church. Survivors include: three sons, B. Joe Robinson and his wife Elaine of Davenport, Don Robinson and his wife Nancy of Edmond and Keiler Robinson and wife Paula of Glencoe; two daughters, Joy Adams of Sperry and Sandy Dooley and husband Bob of Ponca City; three brothers, Wilbur and wife Leona of Pawnee, Carney and wife Lola of Oklahoma City, Fred and his wife Marilyn of Drumright; five sisters, Loweta VanDusen of Oklahoma City, Hazel Lasher of Oklahoma City, Lee Baker and husband Bill of Oklahoma City, Wilma Payne and husband George of Mt. Pleasant, Texas and Doris Stewart of Alva; sister-in-law Barbara Robinson of Tecumseh; 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
