Donald Keith Bechtold

Donald Keith Bechtold, age 72, of Edmond died on November 3, 1998 in Oklahoma 
City.

He was born September 21, 1926, in Atchison, Kansas to Edwin Flynn and Gladys 
Bele Bechtold. 

Donald served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He was a member of the First 
Christan Church of Newkirk, Oklahoma and retired from the Oklahoma Turnpike 
Authority. 

Some of his hobbies included golfing and fishing. 

He was a member of the American Legion.

Survivors include his wife, Nadine, of the home; sons and daughter in law 
Jack and Deborah Fortenberry of Oklahoma City, and Preston McConnell of 
Yukon; daughter and son in law Sheryl Mason of Yukon, and Kathy and Donnal 
Rancher of San Antonio, Texas; brothers Edwin Bechtold of Tulsa, and Joe 
Bechtold of Colorado; 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandsons.

Services were held at 2 pm on Friday, Nov. 6 at Baggerly Funeral Home Chapel 
with interment at Waterloo Cemetery.
