Joseph Regional Medical Center, Ponca City. The daughter of John Herbert and Cynthia Ann (Alderete) Goad, she was born Dec. 2, 1971 in Fairfield, California. When she was six, the family moved to Vallejo, California, and she attended the Penny Cook Elementary School, North Hill Christian School and Hogan High School, graduating with the class of 1989. She then attended Solano Community College for two years. After she left college she was employed in various jobs. On Aug. 5, 1997 she and Michael Shannon Ryan were married at South Lake Tahoe, California. They established their first home in Vallejo where they lived until 1999 when they moved to Newkirk. She was a member of the First Baptist Church where she taught a Sunday School class. She loved her children and the beach, and she collected angels of all kinds. Ryan is survived by three sons, Sean Michael Ryan, Maxwell Austin Ryan and Michael Shannon Ryan, all of the home; one daughter, Sara Ann Ryan of the home; her parents, John and Cynthia Goad of Little Rock, Arkansas; two brothers, Don Goad of Chesapeake, Virginia and Doyle Goad of Sparks, Nevada; and two sisters, Donna Quarry of Lathrop, California and Tammi Quail of Los Angeles, California; her maternal grandmother, Angie Sanchez, Fairfield; and her paternal grandmother, Wynona Goad of Newkirk. The funeral is scheduled for 1 p.m. Friday, March 10 in the First Baptist Church with the Rev. Danny Ringer officiating. Burial will follow in Newkirk Cemetery under the direction of Miller-Stahl Funeral Service. The body will lie in state Wednesday from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m., and Thursday from 8 a.m. until 9 p.m. Family members will serve as casket bearers. A memorial fund has been established as an education fund for Ryan's children.
