(Maugans) Sadler Dorothy M. Sadler, former resident, and sister-in-law to Thelma Norris of Ponca City died in Sarasota, Fla., Monday, July 7, 1996. She was 82. A memorial service is set for 11 a.m. Thursday at Lee Memorial Park in Fort Myers, Fla., with the Rev. Charles Sullivan officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Lee Memorial Park Funeral Home of Fort Myers. Dorothy M. (Maugans) Sadler was born Dec. 11, 1913, in Ponca City, the daughter of Sam and Adele (LeRuth) Maugans. She grew up and attended schools in Ponca City. She was married to Archie R. Sadler in Ponca City and the couple had recently celebrated 62 years of marriage. For several years, they moved to various locations and Mrs. Mrs. Sadler was a homemaker and mother. They had lived in Youngstown, Ohio, for the last 45 years, spending a part of each year in Fort Myers, Fla. She also cared for a grandson, Christian Sadler in her home. Survivors include her husband, Archie Sadler, of Fort Myers; two sons, Rick of Fort Myers, and Archie R.
