All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::NOT LISTED Domeny, Wayne Eugene DOMENY, Wayne Eugene - Born February 15, 1923, to Perle Fenton Domeny and Cecil Rose (Cummins) Domeny in Ponca City, OK. When Wayne was about two and a half years old, the family moved to Longmont, CO. At the age of six, Wayne began attending the Colorado School for the Deaf and Blind in Colorado Springs, CO. While he was there he learned to be a piano technician. He graduated in 1941. In the mid-1940's Wayne followed his parents to California, at first making his home in Oakland. He moved to Santa Rosa in 1949, where he established a successful piano tuning and repair business with clients in Sonoma, Marin, Lake, and Napa Counties. On April 11, 1952, he married Dolores Van Dyne. Wayne and Dolores worked together for many years, building their business and raising their family. Wayne enjoyed traveling, camping, listening to music, reading talking books, listening to talk radio, and eating ethnic food. He was a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. He died on March 31, 2007 in Santa Rosa, surrounded by his family. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Clyde Domeny and Ellis Domeny. Wayne is survived by one sister, Dorothy Davis of El Cajon, CA; his wife, Dolores Domeny of Santa Rosa, CA; one daughter, Cynthia Jones of Santa Rosa, CA; one son, Roger Domeny of Rock Springs, WY; and two grandchildren, Raymond McAllister of Berrien Springs, MI; and Michelle Jones of Santa Rosa, CA. A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 7, 2007 at 3:00 p.m., at the Sebastopol Seventh-day Adventist Church, with Pastor Don Lane officiating.
