He was 34. The funeral will be held graveside at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Ponca City IOOF Cemetery with the Rev. Jackie Vogele, pastor of the Church of God, Arkansas City, Kan., presiding. Arrangements are under the direction of Grace Memorial Chapel of Ponca City. Donald Lee Poulter was born March 22, 1962, in Meade, Kan., the son of Robert Eugene and Lavonda Marie (Gully ) Poulter Jr. He moved with his family to Ponca City at an early age and attended Ponca City elementary schools and Douglas and Shidler high schools. After his education he was employed as a sub-contractor in the drywall business and became licensed as a heat and air systems repairman. His hobbies included tinkering, fixing things, and playing Nintendo. Survivors include his wife, Debbie Watkins of Tulsa; two children, Jeffrey and Christie of Texas; his parents, Robert Poulter Sr. and wife, Janice, of Shidler, and Lavonda Trueblood and husband, Sequoiayah, of Marland; two brothers, a twin, Ronald, of Oklahoma City and Bobby Jr. of Shidler; two sisters, Sharon, of Ponca City, and Deborah Hooper of Tahlequah; one half-brother, Gus Trueblood of Texas; three step-brothers, Charley and Clay Garrison, both of Shidler and Del Garrison of Pawhuska; and his paternal grandmother, Mabel Poulter of Ponca City. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Leslie Poulter; and his maternal grandparents. As a memorial, an educational fund has been established for Mr. Poulter's children and may be sent to Bank IV, 201 South Cosden, Shidler, OK 74652.
