Deanna Peterson officiating. She died on Sunday, March 14, 1999 at the Glencoe Area Health Center at the age of 63 . Ellie was born on December 15, 1935 to Rev. Jaroslav and Vera (Prudky) Mrazek in Johnstown, New York. Ellie graduated from high school in Newkirk . She then went to Abbot Hospital School of Nursing and continued her education at Metropolitian University and Mankato State University. She was a Registered Nurse for 35 years at the Glencoe Hospital and a Public Health Nurse for 7 years with McLeod County. On Sept. 9, 1956, she was united in marriage to Ron Makovsky at the Presbyterian Church in Silver Lake. She was a member of the Faith Presbyterian Church, Junior Choir Director, Elder, Clerk of Session, Deacon and an officer of the Mariners Club and enjoyed gardening, flowers, antiques, auctions, traveleing and reading. Survivors include her husband, Ron; son and daughter-in-law, Todd and Hiromi of 29 Palms, California; daughters, Beth of St. Louis Park and Ann of Bremerton, WA.; three grandchildren, Ken, Gene, and Nicholas; a sister and brother-in-law, Emily and Phillip Scott of Newkirk; and a brother, George Mrazek of Boulder, CO.
