All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::NOT LISTED Freiley, Elizabeth Louise Elizabeth Louise Freiley, 91, a retired teacher, passed away Wednesday, July 5, 2006, at a local hospital. Memorials: The family suggests memorials be made to Girls and Boys Town-Father Flanagan's Boys Home, 234 Monsky Drive, Boys Town, Neb. 68010-7550. Mrs. Freiley was born to Elmer and Della Smith Sheets on Sept. 14, 1914, in Braman, Okla. She was the youngest of 14 children. Elizabeth touched the lives of many young adults, helping them with their educations. In 1942, she started her teaching career in various schools, including Alvord and Chapin. From 1946-1953 she taught in White Settlement. In 1953, she moved to Richland Elementary School and continued there until her retirement in 1979. In the Nov. 21, 1969, issue of the school newspaper (5th Dimension News) she was named Teacher of the Week. She was preceded in death by her brothers, sisters, a son and a daughter. Survivors: Son, Virgil Oliver Clester; stepsons, Kenneth J. Freiley and Don Freiley; stepdaughter, Johnnie Fondren; grandchildren, Doug, Brian and Robbie; and five great-grandchildren.
