Her last thoughts and words were of her three beloved granddaughters, Katie, Jillian, and Hillary. Nancy was born in Ponca City, Oklahoma on September 2, 1941. She lived in Oklahoma, Washington, Indiana, Arizona, and California, and kept lifelong friendships with dear hearts around the world. A 15- year-resident of Merced, she loved her family, friends, America, and her flower garden. She was a devoted wife and mother, and a woman of exceptional integrity. Nancy is survived by daughter Linda Hart-Brown of Merced, son Glen Hart of Albuquerque, brother John Hadley, Sr. of Santa Cruz, three granddaughters, and a big circle of family and friends. She is predeceased by her husband, Charles Hart; parents Marquis and Mary Ruth Hadley, and elder brother, Marquis Hadley, Jr. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations made in Nancy's memory to the Veterans of Foreign Wars Foundation (VFW), 406 West 34th Street, Kansas City, MO 64111 A memorial celebration of life will be held privately.
