Ernest E. Hatfield

FRITCH - Ernest E. Hatfield, 87, died Wednesday, Oct. 6, 1999.

Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in the Garden of 
Devotion in Westlawn Memorial Park with the Rev. Ron Trusler of 
Plainview officiating. Arrangements are by Minton / Chatwell Funeral 
Directors of Borger.

Mr. Hatfield was born in Caldwell, Kan., and moved to Fritch in 1934. 
For 41 years, he was a supervisor at Phillips Petroleum Co. He was a 
member of First Southern Baptist Church and the Phillips Country 
Club.

He married Leona Porter in 1936 at Newkirk, Okla.

Survivors include his wife; a son, R.C. "Dick" Hatfield of Plainview; 
a daughter, Cela Ann Jolley of Mesa, Ariz.; a brother, R.A. Hatfield 
of Wichita, Kan.; eight grandchildren; and 13 greatgrandchildren.
