Rosary service for Leven, a former resident of this community will be 8 p.m. today in the Stahl Funeral Service chapel here. Funeral services are set for: 10 a.m. Monday in St. Francis Catho1ic Church with the Rev. William Perras officiating. Interment will be in the Newkirk Cemetery. Leven, in construction work the greater part of his 1ife, is survived by his wife Grace, of the home in Roswell; two sons, Jack of Los Angeles and Gery, with the U.S. Forces in Newfoundland; a daughter, Mrs.Lola Mae Oelhert, Kansas City, Kan.; three brothers, A. A. Leven, Newkirk, the Most Rev. Stephen A. Leven, San Antonio, and Frank Leven, Newkirk; three sisters, Mrs. Katie Larchey, Perry, Mrs. Maria Gray, San Antonio, and Sister Mary Anselm, Cherryvale, Kan.; and eight grandchildren. [He was preceded in death by his parents Joseph John and Gertrude; a brother Otto F., killed in WWI; a sister Gertrude, died at age 5; and his first wife Louella.] March 21, 1965 Ponca City News
