Sebor Lillie F. Sebor, longtime Ponca City resident, died Tuesday, December 29, 1998 at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center. She was 88. An evening vigil service was held on Friday, Jan. 1, 1999 at Grace Memorial Chapel with the Rev. John J. Michalicka, pastor St. Mary's Catholic Church, officiating. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 10 am on Saturday, Jan. 2, 1999 at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Rev. Michalicka as celebrant. Burial followed at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery under the direction of Grace Memorial Chapel. Lillie Sebor was born January 7, 1910 in Caddo County, Oklahoma to Louis and Bessie (Kvasnica) Malon. She attended the Strong Catholic School in Amber, Oklahoma. Lillie was married to Arnold Sebor on Oct. 3, 1929 in Anadarko. The couple made their home on a farm in rural Kay County, two miles south of Kildare. Mrs. Sebor was active in all operations of the farm and managed all farm operations after the death of her husband until moving into Ponca City in 1985. She had opened the farm to area school children for tours and to see the variety of animals including turkeys, chicks, ducks and geese kept on the farm. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, the 55 and Older Card Club, and the Polka Club of Pond Creek. True to her Czech heritage, the Polka was her favorite music and she enjoyed listening to Polka programs on the radio. Surviving are a son, John Sebor of Ponca City; two daughters, Joan Williams and Anna Stuever of Ponca City; two sisters, Beatrice Polifka, Enid, and Elizabeth Wells, Del City; one brother, George Malon of Anadarko; ten grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Her husband; parents; a daughter, Celestine; and a son, Ernest, preceded her in death. Casket bearers were Don Sebor, Greg Sebor, Bobby Sebor, J. Paul Williams, Bill Stuever, and Ronald Sebor Sr. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church, 408 S. 8th, Ponca City, OK 74601 or to the American Diabetes Association in care of Lori Hodges at Pioneer Band and Trust, P.O.
